'Young and the Restless' Spoilers (September 22): Cane Flirts With Phyllis

Young and the Restless spoilers for September 22 feature Cane Ashby seemingly taking his chances with Phyllis Summers. She has been proving her loyalty to Cane, and it seems he's starting to appreciate her efforts. Tessa Porter begins to dig deeper into Mariah Copeland's suspicious decision, while Billy Abbott comes up with an offer to Jack Abbott.

'Young and the Restless': Tessa Discusses Mariah's Decision

Monday's spoilers for Young and the Restless reveal Daniel telling Mariah's decision to Tessa. Mariah asks Daniel to look after Tessa and Aria. Tessa recalls one of her last conversations with Mariah, where she told her that she was going to Boston. "Mariah told me she tried to kill someone. She just drops this bomb on me and takes off," she adds.

Tessa then speculates whether Ian's return has something to do with Mariah's sudden decision to disappear. "What if Mariah's right, maybe Aria and I are better off without her?" she says. Regardless, Tessa tells Daniel that she loves Mariah no matter what. She then heads to the hotel where Mariah is staying, and Daniel asks to come along.

Cane Asks Phyllis Out

Billy goes livid on Cane in Monday's spoilers of Young and the Restless. Cane tells him that he shouldn't let go of his girlfriend over a business deal. "A business deal?! I lost Abbott Communications, I lost Chancellor, I got nothing left, so you owe me, brother!" Billy yells. Billy then issues a warning. "And you're not gonna like what comes next," he says, before storming off.

"Make it go away, Michael," Cane adds. Phyllis then tells Cane that he did the right thing. "You're an interesting creature," Cane responds. Phyllis says the same thing, adding that they share many things in common. "Do you have dinner plans?" Cane asks Phyllis while smiling. "Now I do," Phyllis replies.
