"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, reveal Billy Abbott handing over the Chancellor to Lily Winters. Phyllis Summers finally reaches Matt Clark, and she's starting to fall for him.
Matt just paid Patty Williams a visit, and it made him concerned that he may get back into his old ways. Meanwhile, Lauren Fenmore and Michael Baldwin will talk about Phyllis, and Audra Charles will confess to Sally Spectra.
'Young and the Restless' Billy Hands Chancellor To Lily
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday feature Lily and Cane cuddling on the couch while watching a movie. Billy then shows up, saying, "I just left the hospital; Sally and the baby had an emergency. It's nothing serious, but scared the hell out of us."
Billy then tells the two that he doesn't want any stress at the moment, which is why he's giving up Chancellor. "You can keep it," he tells Lily. Cane wasn't satisfied with Billy's words. He tells Lily that Billy will try to get it back once the baby arrives.
Phyllis Falls For Matt
Wednesday's spoilers for "Young and the Restless" tease Phyllis arriving at Matt's hotel room. "What are you doing in this awful place?" she asks. Matt then tells Phyllis that he's having terrible thoughts in his head.
Phyllis asks what she can do to help him, but Matt believes nobody has the solution for his struggles. Phyllis then finds a crumpled letter. "What is this, were you saying goodbye?" she asks, and Matt explains that he's been going through a lot.
Matt then tells Phyllis he visited Patty, and he worries he may end up like her. "You are nothing alike, she's a psycho, a monster, you are actually kind and showing regret and remorse. I'm gonna change this for you, you are not alone, I'm with you every step of the way," Phyllis answers. Things later calmed, and the two made love.
