Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 2, reveal the aftermath of Kyle Abbott's failed proposal to Claire Newman. He's suddenly rushing things with Claire to prove that she's the one for him. However, Claire has yet to move on from what he did to Audra Charles.
Spoilers then show Claire asking Holden Novak for a drink, which could lead to even more problems. Meanwhile, Cane Ashby continues to make his move to manipulate everyone around him.
'Young and the Restless': Cane Denies Access To Powerful AI
Tuesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless show Diane crossing paths with Phyllis at Society. Jack waves and calls her over. Diane asks what he's doing. "Just follow my lead," he replies.
Phyllis then talks to them about how amazing it is working with Cane. But Jack is aware that Cane ditched one of his biggest plans, catching Phyllis off guard. Phyllis lies and insists that nothing has changed.
On the other hand, Cane gets into a serious conversation with Victor at the ranch. He tells him he's turning down his request to team up against the Abbotts.
"I need to focus on my family right now," Cane says. Victor tells him that he understands his situation. But he wasn't asking him to work with him. "It was an order," he adds.
Cane continues to reject Victor's order. But Victor brings out his weapon that could force Cane. He threatens to tell everyone about how he gained his fortune.
Cane is curious about why Victor is eager to team up with him. Victor then tells him that he's aware of his access to a powerful AI technology. But Cane denies it, saying that it doesn't exist at all.
"You and I will use the software to destroy Jabot, and take it away from the Abbotts, once and for all!" Victor tells.
Claire Gets Drunk With Holden
Kyle is still trying his best to regain Claire's trust. According to Young and the Restless spoilers, Claire can't accept the fact that Kyle and Audra got so close.
Kyle expresses his regrets, saying that he wishes it had never happened. But Claire is not having it. She asks for more time to think about his proposal and the whole situation.
Later in the episode, Claire runs into Holden. She tells him about her chaotic day. "If you'd like to talk about it. It looks like both of us will be up for a while," he replies.
Claire then says she's more interested in trying alcohol instead of caffeine. "I feel like getting drunk, I've never been, and I'd like to try it. Care to join me?" she tells Holden.
