Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, September 12, feature Sally Spectra learns about the unexpected end of Abbott Communications. Jack and Billy Abbott had a major fallout, resulting in Jack pulling his support for his brother. With everything going on in his favor, Cane Ashby doubles his offer for Michael Baldwin.
'Young and the Restless': Cane Is Eager To Hire Michael
Friday's spoilers of Young and the Restless reveal Michael agreeing to Victor's offer to spy on Cane. He accepts Cane's offer, which he doubles. "No, Cane is clearly the aggressor, so I will work with you to get rid of the threat he poses," Michael tells Victor before arriving at Cane's private train to discuss his job.
"If I double your offer, would that be satisfactory?" Cane asks. "It would," Michael answers. Cane tells him to talk to Phyllis and inform him about all the things he needs to know. Michael reports back to Victor and tells him that Phyllis is involved in the scheme. "Then maybe we can kill two birds with one stone," he tells Michael.
Sally Learns About Abbott Communications
Sally sees a passed-out Billy in Friday's spoilers of Young and the Restless. She wakes him up, and he'll tell her he was dreaming. "You always are," Sally replies. Billy then asks if Sally was mad. "More worried, I just needed some time to think. I'm not going to let you go forward with this, Billy," she responds.
Sally reminds Billy that she stood by him, even when the stakes were high. "We could both get what we want, I could run Chancellor and you could run Abbott," Billy says. Sally wonders if she and the company are enough for Billy. But he wants her to be more flexible. "Chancellor Industries depends on me working with Cane," he adds. Billy then mentions the fight he had with his brother, resulting in the termination of Abbott Communications. "The company is dead, and that's exactly why I have to work with Cane," he tells Sally. "I gave up a lot to do this with you," Sally says. "You're putting your obsessions ahead of us. I have real concerns about what you're doing, and you're not listening to me," she adds.
Billy clarifies that he'll handle everything. He will not join Victor and Cane's AI warfare. Instead, he'll use it to force Victor to let him handle the Chancellor.
