'Young and the Restless' Spoilers (October 8): Victor Plans To Backstab Jack?

Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 8, reveal Nikki Newman's suspicions about Victor Newman. Victor is still trying to outrun Cane Ashby, who's planning to dominate Genoa City. It seems Victor has more shady plans in mind. Meanwhile, Jack confronts Cane at his private train, accusing him of cruelty. Jill Abbott tells Victor that Cane is a man of his word. But should Victor trust him? On the other hand, Tessa Porter gushes over Daniel Romalotti's impact on her life.

'Young and the Restless' Tessa Shows Gratitude To Daniel

Wednesday's spoilers for Young and the Restless feature Tessa meeting with Daniel. She talks about how they should try to find the person Mariah tried to kill. However, Daniel thinks it's not a great idea. "The problem is, we don't know what this guy is capable of," he says. Tessa remains curious, especially about how the man managed to break Mariah.

Tessa tells Daniel she needs to book a flight to Boston to see Mariah. She then thanks Daniel for all the things he had done for her. Daniel says he's happy enough to help her. "I want you to stop being so modest, and I want you to hear me. You've been a lifesaver, you've been more than just a friend, you've been my best friend," Tessa replies. 

Victor Plans To Backstab Jack?

Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday show Jack arriving at Cane's train, who was surprised by his arrival. Jack didn't waste time and asked Cane about why he'd make big promises to Billy, only to end up cutting ties with him before they even started working together. Cane clarifies that it was just business and nothing personal.

He tells Jack that he wants a fresh start, and Jack believes Cane can prove it if he gets rid of his AI software. Cane asks if he knows someone who can do the job, and Jack suggests himself. Cane laughs at Jack, saying, "The risk would be you'd use the software for your own goals." Jack suggests that Jill can put an end to the software.

Victor then gets a scene, telling Jill that Cane is going after everyone in Genoa City. But Jill insists that Cane can now be trusted. "The threat is over. My sense is he's backed off any threat whatsoever. There isn't going to be a war," she says. Nikki is skeptical about it, saying that either Jill is lying or Cane lied to Jill. "What we need Jill, is to get our hands on that AI software and destroy it," Victor suggests. Nikki is curious about what Victor will do if he finally gets his hands on the software. "Did you team up with Jack as a ploy so you could disarm him and put the knife in his back?" she asks, prompting Victor to chuckle, seemingly showing a sinister plot.
