This week's promo for Young and the Restless reveals a huge tension at the maze. Carter holds Lily at gunpoint, telling Chance and Cane that he has had enough.
"Carter! Don't do this! You're going to make it worse for yourself, Carter," Cane said.
"How could I make it worse? It was all for you and now you wanna lock me up. I'll find my way out of here!" Carter stated.
Following the deadly incident, Amanda tells Cane she called the cops. He tells her she did the right thing, especially with two more fatalities involved.
Amanda then tells Cane that the case is closed and that he's now cleared. But Cane seems to doubt that.
Meanwhile, everyone's relieved that phone signal is back. They wonder why all of a sudden. Victor declares, "Because I have a feeling Cane Ashby knows he has lost. We can get the hell out of here now."
