"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday, July 23, reveal Nick Newman taking steps to get better. He's been trying to fight his drug addiction, and he's now considering entering rehab for full recovery.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman convinces Sally Spectra and Audra Charles to sell Newman Media to him. Claire Newman continues to lean on Holden Novak, while Phyllis Summers must decide her feelings towards Matt Clark.
'Young and the Restless' Adam Buys Newman Media
Thursday's spoilers of "Young and the Restless" tease Sally telling Audra that Victor is not willing to buy the Newman Media. However, Adam expresses his desire to purchase it from them.
Audra asks if Victor has given her the green light to sell it, and she'll say no. "I think this is the only way the deal goes through," Sally adds.
Sally believes that even though it's a bad idea, it's their only option. "Victor may never stop coming after Newman Media," Sally says. Chelsea argues with Adam for not telling her about his plans to purchase Newman Media. "You should have run it by me, we make decisions together," she adds.
Adam later went to his father to tell him that Newman Media will be theirs again. "What did you do?" Victor asks. Will Victor be upset with what Adam is about to do?
Nick Entering Rehab
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Thursday reveal Nick arguing with Phyllis regarding her relationship with Matt. Nick doesn't want Phyllis to fall for a criminal who has amnesia. "I don't need a chaperone, my relationship with Matt has nothing to do with you," Phyllis answers before asking if Nick is jealous.
Nick tells Phyllis that if she likes Matt so much, then she should leave Genoa City with him. Sharon arrives and tries to calm things down.
Nick then says how frustrating things have been for him, especially knowing that his mother is still blind and Matt is around. "I just feel like if I had one more pill, everything would be golden," he adds.
Nick then tells Sharon that a drug dealer texted him, but he didn't respond. "I think I need to go to rehab," Nick says.
