Young and the Restless Spoilers (July 17): Nick Warns Cane: 'You Came After the Wrong Guy'

 

Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 17, dig deeper into Nick Newman's clash with Cane Ashby. Things have gotten more complicated as Chance Chancellor investigates everyone following the murder of Damian Cane. Nick tells Chance and Phyllis that someone is sabotaging him, and he's already taking steps to stop things from getting worse.

'Young and the Restless': Nick Newman Warns Cane Ashby

Thursday's Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the aftermath of Nick's discovery of the murder weapon in his bathroom. Phyllis will ask him if he thinks someone is sabotaging him.

Nick believes Cane planted the dagger, but Phyllis and Chance think there's a different angle to the story. Nick insists, saying, "He wants to keep us all here, trapped, so his little game can play out."

Later, Nick and Cane run into each other at the maze. Nick asks Cane about his plans and why he planted the dagger in his bathroom. He angrily said, "From now on you come at me man to man! Trust me, you're gonna wish you were the one who was dead." 

Cane Ashby Is Shocked By The Turn Of Events

Thursday's Young and the Restless spoiler says Cane will struggle in trying to make people around him believe him, including his lawyer, Amanda Sinclair. She has a high suspicion that he's behind Damian's murder, especially considering the love triangle growing between him, Damian, and Lily.

However, Amanda tells Cane she'll continue to do her job for him. She said, "But that is not going to stop me from doing my job, making sure that no one can prove you killed Damian."

Phyllis will also tell Cane and Amanda about Nick's discovery of the dagger. When she was asked by Cane what Nick did about it, she answered, "Like any innocent person would do, he brought it to Chance."

Meanwhile, Nikki suffers from a nightmare about her kids and tells Victor about it. Will something bad happen to Victoria and Nick?

'Young and the Restless': Nick Newman Tells Parents About What Happened

Nick is relieved that his parents are doing well following the chaos in the maze. He then told his father, "Because Cane made his next move, and it's a bloody one."

Victor says the sabotage is nonsense. But Nick believes Cane has something to do with it, especially considering how everyone knows how he feels about him.
