"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday, July 1, feature Diane Jenkins making her move to escape from Dr. Markham. She tries to poison his food, but will Diane's dangerous attempt backfire?
Meanwhile, Cane Ashby makes an offer to Billy Abbott shortly after their heated conversation. Jack Abbott is making progress on his investigation, using Patty Williams' phone as a way to distract him.
'Young and the Restless' Diane Makes A Risky Move
"Young and the Restless" spoilers for Wednesday tease Dr. Markham walking into Diane at his home. He tells her that her sedatives just came, and explains that she must only take one pill every night.
Diane plays along with Dr. Markham, and she'll even invite her for a bottle of wine with the dinner she prepared. This leads to Dr. Markham heading down to his cellar to grab a wine.
Diane took the opportunity to snag a handful of pills from his jacket. Fortunately, Jack is also making moves to distract Dr. Markham. He uses Patty's phone to text him about an emergency, saying that she must meet at their usual spot.
This prompts Dr. Markham to leave the scene, and Diane will take the opportunity to put drugs on his food.
Cane Offers Billy A New Opportunity
Wednesday's spoilers for "Young and the Restless" reveal Sally and Billy arriving at the coffee shop to meet with Cane. Cane will tell Billy he'd like him to be the head of research and development at Chancellor.
"Why me? I don't know what's going here and I appreciate your offer," Billy says. Cane believes Billy is good at that kind of work, saying, "I want you here, I think the two of us can do some great things together."
Billy looks at Sally for advice. "I think we should take the time to discuss it and not make any snap decisions," Sally tells him. But Billy will then agree and shake hands with Cane.
