Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 7, reveal an unfortunate turn of events between Cane Ashby and Lily Winters. Things were supposedly going their way, with Cane finally regaining her trust. However, Lili decides she should run away from Cane.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin and Nikki Newman devise a plan to terminate Victor Newman's AI program. He's plotting to shut down Jabots once and for all, and many people could be affected. But will Michael and Nikki succeed?
'Young and the Restless' Lily Runs Away From Cane
Wednesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless feature Cane meeting with Lily at GCAC. Cane gives her a rose, and she'll stare at it. Lily accepts Cane's gift, saying that they're lovely. Cane mentions their New Year's Eve, but Lily will say she let her guard down too much.
Lily then catches Cane off guard by telling him that she's leaving town for quite some time to clear her head and get away from him. Cane politely accepts Lily's statements, saying that he's willing to give her all the time and space she needs.
But Lily tells Cane that he would never do such things. Cane suggests that he come with her, but Lily rejects him. "We are so beyond played out, and if I have to leave town to make that message stick, so be it. What I do know is I am the last person you belong with," Lily says before storming off.
Nikki & Michael Team Up Against Victor
Michael comes up with a plan to bring Victor down in Wednesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless. Nikki asks Michael if he's willing to help destroy Victor's AI chaos. Michael says no, adding that they're like-minded.
Michael reveals that he's been subtly trying to stop Victor and his AI program. But Nikki says it's not enough. Michael agrees, saying that they share the same goal against Victor. "I think we should put our heads together and fix this thing," he adds.
Michael believes they should use Cane and blame him for everything. But how will that help stop Victor?
