Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, January 16, reveal the aftermath of Cane Ashby's negotiations with Billy Abbott. Cane wants to give Chancellor back to Billy, but Sally has something to say about it. It leads to a huge argument. Will Billy insist on taking Cane's offer?
Meanwhile, Nick Newman captures Matt Clark again. But it was only possible due to his intense negotiation with Jack Abbott.
'Young and the Restless' Billy & Sally Argue Over Cane
Friday's spoilers of Young and the Restless feature Sally learning about Cane's offer to Billy. She's not happy about it, as it could take Billy's attention away from her again. But Billy explains his side, saying that it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
He believes that he and Sally can be a power couple in Genoa City. But it's not what she wants for them. "When I made that deal with you, it was because I didn't think you could put my needs above your personal ones," Sally adds.
Billy is confused about why Sally is so livid over Cane's offer. She warns Billy that it would be the worst decision he'll make in his life if he accepts it. Sally continues, "If you do go forward with this, I'm not going to be happy."
Nick Captures Matt
Nick arrives at the Abbott estate in Friday's spoilers of Young and the Restless. Jack wonders why Nick is already out of the hospital, and Nick will say he needs to save his family.
Nick went straight to the point, telling Jack to hand Matt over to him. Jack mentions that there was supposed to be a negotiation between them and Victor regarding Matt. But it was suddenly set aside following Cane's AI attack.
Nick explains that he's the only one who can stop Matt, adding that the Abbotts have no idea what the criminal is capable of.
"I'm the one who knows how to deal with him. I'm the one who's going to put an end to this monster for good!" Nick says. Nick's tactics worked, as the next few scenes showed Matt in a car trunk. He's now held hostage by Nick, and Noah wonders what they will do to him.
