'Young and the Restless' Spoilers (August 28): Kyle Wants to Propose After Huge Fight

Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 28, revolve around Kyle Abbott and Claire Newman's major fight. Just when things are finally going their way, Kyle makes a confession that leaves Claire livid. Meanwhile, Victoria Newman remains skeptical about her father's actions regarding Claire and Kyle. Victor and Jack continue to go all out, as Cane Ashby calls off his sinister plans. 

'Young and the Restless': Kyle Wants To Step Up

Thursday's spoilers of Young and the Restless show Kyle finally being able to breathe again after Victor stops getting between him and Claire. "That's behind us now, along with everything else that was in the way," Claire happily tells him.

Later in their conversation, Claire asks if there's something he still wants to clear up, specifically about what truly happened between him and Audra at Nice. Kyle clarifies that he doesn't have any feelings for Audra. But he did something unacceptable.

"The trap that I set with Audra. I allowed for a kiss, we kissed in Nice," he confesses to Claire. Kyle admits he had to go far with Audra for a little bit to expose her real motives.

Claire doesn't like what she is hearing. "I asked you to be honest with me, so why didn't you tell me then?! Kyle! Audra has been more honest with me than you have!" she yells.

"You only told me because I forced you to. Without the prompting, would you have just continued to lie to me?" she adds. Kyle tells Claire that he loves her, saying that he's hoping he didn't make things worse. Claire gets emotional and walks out.

At Society, Kyle meets with Jack and Diane. He opens up about what happened between him and Claire. He then reveals his plans to prove to Claire how much he loves her. "I have to find a way to prove my love to her. I'm gonna ask Claire to marry me," he says.

Victoria Questions Her Father

Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday also reveal Victoria's doubts about Victor's decision to stop meddling between Claire and Kyle. "I know that deep down, he wants Claire to be happy. But I can't see him fully trusting Kyle," Nikki tells Victoria.

Victoria then gets a message. She puts her phone down, but Nikki sees her wallpaper, which is a photo of her and Cole. Victoria then shows her mother a key, telling her about its story. "There's a bridge in Serbia, where couples often leave locks, as a show of devotion," she says.

Claire arrives on the scene and opens up about what happened between him and Kyle. Nikki believes what Kyle did was wrong, but she's sure that he loves her.
