'Young and the Restless' Spoilers (Aug 20): Audra Gets Caught – Claire Admits Having Doubts

Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 20, reveal Audra Charles getting caught by Nate Hastings. Claire Newman has begun her counterattack against Audra by telling Nate about her antics. Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti was caught off guard by Tessa Porter. Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra team up against Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson. On the other hand, Sally Spectra is taking steps to lead Abbott Communications.

'Young and the Restless': Sally Takes Over Abbott Communications

Wednesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless reveal Sally telling Billy that Abbott Communications is ready to launch under her supervision. Billy wants to make sure Sally is prepared. But she responds by telling him that she has a secret weapon. "I brought in Audra Charles," she tells Billy, who was skeptical about working with her. However, Sally assures Billy that Audra can be trusted.

Spoilers show Sally being disappointed at Adam and Chelsea for trashing Billy. Later in the conversation, Billy reveals that Sally is taking over Abbott Communications, but Adam will roll his eyes. Wednesday's episode also reveals Daniel having a heart-to-heart conversation with Tessa. She tells him he has been a light and shining armor for her daughter. "When I'm with you I feel like I can be happy again. Thank you for that," she tells him. Daniel replies by saying he feels the same way.

'Y&R': Claire Shares Her Doubts

Wednesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless show Nate and Audra interrupting the fun time of Holden, Daniel, Claire, and Tessa. Claire expresses how Audra's appearance ruined her mood. Nate and Audra came to say hi to Claire, asking how she's been doing. The group also shared their condolences for Nate's brother. Moments later, Claire finally had enough of Audra, saying, "I hope you don't mind if I make a scene. But I have had it with that woman."

Claire then tells Nate, "Your girlfriend made a deal with my grandfather for funding  her company, in exchange for getting Kyle to cheat on me." Nate asks Audra if Claire's allegations are true. "Of course it isn't. Kyle conveniently made this is up and planted it in his little girlfriend's head," Audra responds. She then claims that Kyle was the one who was hitting on her in France. "The only reason this is even coming up is because I rejected Kyle and his fragile little ego got hurt," she adds.

Holden and Claire later had a moment. He asks if there's a chance Kyle is lying. Claire believes Kyle is telling the truth. But she can't hide the fact that she's having doubts. "And I hate that I do," she adds.
