The rivalry between the Newmans and Abbotts gets worse in Wednesday's spoilers for Young and the Restless. August 13 reveals Nick Newman and Billy Abbott getting into it. But while the big names fight, Cane Ashby is already laying his plans to take over Genoa City. Meanwhile, Victor feels bad about Claire suffering from another heartbreak.
'Young and the Restless': Victor Sympathizes With Claire
Spoilers for Wednesday's episode of Young and the Restless reveal Victoria discussing Claire and Kyle with her grandfather, Victor. Victoria is not happy about how Victor used Audra to break up Kyle and Claire.
Victoria realizes that she shouldn't be surprised at this point, knowing that he also meddled with her own love life years ago.
However, Victor explains that he was only doing it for the sake of her and Claire. "Everything I do is out of love for you and for Claire. I don't want to see her get her heart broken," he adds.
But Victoria insists that Victor is the one who is breaking Claire's heart. "I'm begging you, let this go, let Claire find her own way," she states.
'Y&R': Nick Gets Heated
At Crimson Lights, Nick and Adam were having a chat before Billy's arrival. Adam takes the opportunity to ask why Billy is willing to work with Cane after all the chaos he caused in France.
Nick chimes in, saying, "Are you working with Cane or not to further his agenda?" Billy tries to play it safe, saying he was only at Cane's office to get coffee.
Billy went on to say that Victor doesn't even consider Chancellor, saying he only wants something new for his wife.
"That's enough!" Nick yells before saying, "Don't talk about my mom like that!" Nick and Adam understand that Billy is now under Cane's control, and they must be more careful with their decisions.
'Young and the Restless': Billy Wants Sally To Lead
Wednesday's spoilers of Young and the Restless also reveal Billy being confident about having Sally lead the company. She tells Billy that her brother asked her to spy on Cane.
"Billy, please tell me you see what a bad idea this is," she says. However, Billy is determined to find out what Cane is truly planning, especially his plans for Chancellor.
"So then, nothing has changed. I'm just supposed to sit around and wait to see what happens?" Sally responds. Billy agrees to let Sally take over Abbott Communications for now.
