Young And The Restless spoilers tease Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may be a target. Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) decision to hire him at Jabot rubbed some people the wrong way.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is furious with his brother. Also, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) did not hold back when he let Adam know his thoughts on his co-CEO position.
Still, Adam found another friendly face at Jabot, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She witnessed Kyle's hostility towards him. Both Adam and Diane know how it feels to be judged because of their past.
But Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) certainly will not let Diane live down her past. Y&R spoilers for the week of September 12 to 16 reveal that the two women will take bold steps in their vendetta against their common enemy.
While Nikki will work on the outside, Phyllis will work from within Marchetti. Will their plan backfire on Young And The Restless?

Y&R: Can Phyllis Take Down Diane?
Phyllis Summers certainly went to extreme lengths to take down her rival. Red sold her beloved Grand Phoenix to work full-time at Marchetti. But it was only after she learned Diane Jenkins was working there.
Although she gets the pleasure of working with her daughter, Diane was the deciding factor. Still, Diane has proven more than a match for Phyllis so far.
Phyllis and Nikki thought they were on top when the expose on Diane was published, but the articles were canceled. Young And The Restless spoilers for the upcoming weeks imply that Diane will have her guard up.
Further Y&R spoilers tease that Phyllis will try to make it look as if Diane is sabotaging Marchetti. However, that plan may have its flaws. Diane has worked hard to get back into Kyle's good graces. Not to mention Jack's.
Moreover, Diane is doing a great job. It would not make sense for Diane to want to destroy Marchetti. Phyllis' schemes could come back to haunt her on Young And The Restless.

Phyllis Frames Adam on Young and the Restless?
If Phyllis Summers can point the finger at Diane Jenkins for sabotaging Marchetti, it may be obvious that it is a setup. Naturally, all eyes would be on Phyllis.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has remained suspicious of her mother's motives. Kyle, who is the CEO of Marchetti, would be protective of his mother.
Phyllis could lose her job. Also, her relationship with Summer would be at risk. What would she do when she is backed into a corner?

Perhaps Phyllis would look to shift the blame to Adam Newman. He would be the logical choice. Like Diane, Adam has a sketchy past.
Also, Adam's new role at Jabot is wildly unpopular, so he would be an easy target. Kyle would not shed any tears if Adam was fired. Also, Kyle could keep the peace with his mother-in-law. Then Phyllis could continue her efforts to take Diane down on The Young And The Restless.
