Spoilers for Wednesday's episode of Young and the Restless state that Nick Newman will continue to doubt Cane Ashby following the murder of Damian Kane. He feels Cane is trying to blame someone.
However, Nick will later discover a dagger in a plastic bag, which was stashed in the bathroom of his sleeping car. This made him assume someone was setting him up.

Cane Defends Himself
Cane Ashby will continue to defend himself after becoming the primary suspect. Amanda Sinclair told her client he can be honest with her, but he will insist he has nothing to do with Damian's murder case.

She witnessed Cane laying the lifeless body of Damian onto the ground. However, Phyllis believes he's innocent, noting that there was no sign of confrontation when she saw the two.
The previous episode of Young and the Restless showed a mysterious person hurling a dagger at the back of Damian. There are speculations that Cane was the mastermind behind the murder so he could be with Lily Winters again. Is there any truth to it?
