'Seeking Sister Wife': Did Dimitri and Ashley Snowden Abuse Christeline?

Seeking Sister Wife stars Dimitri and Ashley Snowden are facing some serious allegations from Christeline Petersen. The polygamous couple has been hit with a restraining order over their alleged abuse of her.

Christeline is one of the two potential sister wives currently featured on the latest season. Things seem to go smoothly for her and the Snowdens, so much so that they all live together even before the final choice has been made.

But now, fans are starting to question what's really happening behind the scenes. Are Dimitri and Ashley being genuine on the show?

Seeking Sister Wife: Dimitri and Ashley Snowden Get Restraining Order From Christeline

Looks like there's more to Snowden's polygamous lifestyle than what viewers see on TV. Recently, the Seeking Sister Wife couple has been accused of domestic violence by none other than their newest wife, Christeline Petersen.

According to reports, the single mother from South Africa filed a restraining order against Dimitri Snowden and his wife Ashley. Christeline claims her the TLC star has been "physically abusive" towards her for the past year.

Christeline Claims the Snowdens Abuse Her

Instagram blogger Katie Joy (@withoutacrystalball) obtained a copy of the restraining orders against the Snowdens. In docs, Christeline alleges Dimitri, whom she referred to as her husband, slammed her head on the headboard multiple times.

She claims Dimitri was very abusive during intercourse. "He choked me during s*x, even though I told him not to," Christeline added. "The more I struggled the more he enjoyed it."

The Seeking Sister Wife says she has no choice but to go along with it. "I stopped saying no after a few times because any struggle by me would prolong the sex and choking," she claimed.

 

Christeline Petersen also accuses Ashley Snowden of physical and verbal abuse. She claims the mother of three "shoved and tried to prevent [her] from leaving the home" they shared.

Seeking Sister Wife: Dimitri Dodges TRO

Meanwhile, it looks like Dimitri Snowden managed to dodge Christeline Petersen's complaints. The Seeking Sister Wife star is reportedly no longer dealing with the restraining order against him.

According to TMZ, Dimitri countered Christeline's abuse claims by showing her supposed text messages, saying she actually "liked the choking" during intercourse.

The judge could not ascertain who's telling the truth, prompting her to toss the case. Similarly, Ashley's case was dissolved as well.
