Bold and the Beautiful fans still can't get over the news of Rena Sofer's exit from the show. The actress officially bid goodbye after nine years of portraying Quinn Forrester.
Sofer confirmed the unexpected news on social media, drawing mixed reactions both from fans and her fellow B&B stars. Quinn's last appearance on the show will air on August 29.
Rena Sofer Ends Quinn Forrester Stint on Bold and the Beautiful
Rena Sofer parted ways from her Bold and the Beautiful character, Quinn Forrester. The soap actress announced that she no longer renewed her contract on the show, adding that it was the right time for her to wrap things up.
Sofer noted that Quinn rekindling her romance with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is the perfect way to end her character's storyline. The actress first played the feisty role in 2013 and has since been a fan favorite.

Rena's Send-Off Party
Rena Sofer admitted that leaving Bold and the Beautiful has been heartbreaking for her. However, she knows that leaving the franchise will allow her to take on new opportunities.
"I know it's heartbreaking for some, and it is for me as well," Sofer said. "But it's time for me to move on with both my acting career and my pottery career."
Of course, Rena Sofer is not leaving just like that. The Bold and the Beautiful crew and cast members threw a send-off party for Quinn, which seemed to move the actress.
"Thank you all for the kind words and all the love I felt over the last 9 years," Sofer gushed.

B&B Cast Members Shower Rena With Love
Rena Sofer's exit as Quinn Forrester also saddened her fellow Bold and the Beautiful cast members. Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan), and Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) were all present during the actress' farewell party.
Noelle shared a photo of herself giving Sofer a sweet kiss on the cheek, telling her how much she would miss her. Saint-Victor also showed his appreciation for her on-screen love interest.

"From our first scene to our last, I love you," Carter's portrayer captioned his post. He even used their famous nickname "Quarter."
Lawrence Saint-Victor also has nothing but praises for Rena Sofer. "I'm so blessed to have worked with you," he added. "Thank you for your talent, your desire, and your friendship."
Young and the Restless star Courtney Hope also showed her appreciation for Sofer. "I'll miss you," she commented. "You're a gem and a force that I am so thankful to have worked with and known! Love you!"
Rena Sofer may no longer be Quinn Forrester, but she sure has left her mark on Bold and the Beautiful.
