Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis had the scare of her life when her youngest child, Hendrix, was taken to the hospital. The wife of Doug Hehner shared the worrying news amid their ongoing preparations for RV living.
Married at First Sight: Jamie Otis' Son Hospitalized
Jamie Otis is one scared mama after her son, Hendrix was rushed to the emergency room. The Married at First Sight star revealed her little boy had a fever for a few days now and it's not going away.
Jamie did not take any chances and immediately take her little boy to the hospital. The mother of two said she doesn't feel comfortable just giving him over-the-counter medicine.
Jamie Otis added that aside from fever, Hendrix has been "super lethargic" lately. "A few nights ago I picked him up out of his crib to find him limp," the Married at First Sight celeb said. "His eyes were kinda rolled to the back of his head, he was staring into space & moaning non-stop."

Why Is Hendrix Hospitalized?
Jamie Otis pointed out that Hendrix's behavior, not his temperature, scared her the most. The Married at First Sight alum said it was "so strange."
Doug Hehner's wife decided to take him to the ER that night as his condition doesn't improve at all. The doctor explained to Jamie that Hendrix's eyes staring off and his odd behavior were likely the "aftermath" of a febrile seizure. The doctor noted that a lot of kids experience this often, but they usually go undetected.
Aside from the seizure, Jamie Otis revealed that Hendrix has "so much mucus" in his lungs. It turns out, the MAFS star's son has a Respiratory Syncytial Virus or RSV. He also has an ear infection and rhinovirus.

Married at First Sight: Jamie Gives RV Updates
Meanwhile, Jamie Otis gave fans some updates about their upcoming move to the RV. The Married at First celeb revealed she and Doug Hehner already narrowed down their RV choices to two.
But the MAFS couple couldn't agree whether or not they will have their two kids share a bedroom. Apparently, Doug wants their children to have one room. Jamie, on the other hand, wants their youngest to co-sleep with them.
The Married at First Sight family is also in the process of packing up their stuff for the big move. Jamie Otis recently revealed that they decided to sell most of their belongings to start fresh, keeping only the important ones.
