Those who follow Isabel Rock on Instagram probably noticed that she's not using Jacob Roloff's last name. The LPBW star took it upon herself to explain this and even revealed some surprising facts about her name.
In a series of IG posts, Izzy said that Rock was her mother Toni's maiden name. She pointed out that she started going by Isabel Sofia Rock after her mom passed away. Jacob's wife also explained that while her father's surname is in her birth certificate, she publicly used Rock to honor her late mom.
Isabel Rock further shared that while she's "legally a Roloff," she's going to be "a Rock forever." The LPBW celeb added that she's "probably always going to go by Rock publicly," and it's something she's very proud of.

LPBW: Isabela Shares a Part of Her Family's Past
Isabela Rock also posted an old sepia-toned photograph of her mom, Toni, with her uncle Jim taken sometime in the 1970s. The LPBW star shared that she wanted to be like the Rock siblings.
"My mom Toni Rock and my uncle Jim Rock in the 70's. Coupla badasses," Isabel wrote. "This is why I still use the last name Rock, to be cool like these two."
Her followers were quick to point out the resemblance between Isabel and her mother. One follower said her Uncle Jim looked a lot like Glenn Frey from the famous rock band Eagles. Another thought he resembled actor Sam Elliott.
