'LPBW': What Are Lilah's Health Conditions?

It's common for people with dwarfism to have different health issues. Lilah Ray Roloff is no different. The lovable Little People, Big World star was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, which her father, Zach Roloff, and big brother Jackson Kyle Roloff also have.

Unfortunately, Lilah suffers from a few more medical conditions, which has worried her parents and fans of the hit TV reality series by TLC.

Little People, Big World: Lilah Ray Roloff Has Development Issues

It's never easy for any parent to hear that your child is not developing as expected. When Lilah Roloff was only nine months old, her doctor said she was underweight.

LPBW couple Tori and Zach Roloff were told to feed their daughter with food high in healthy fats like avocadoes to put on some weight.

What was even more concerning was the doctor's diagnosis that Lilah was not developing as typically as children her age should.

Lilah Roloff had a hard time learning to walk. She was quite late in this aspect and even had to depend on a walker to learn to walk. But the little trooper didn't give up. She's now able to move around independently, which is definitely great progress.

LPBW: Lilah and Her Eye Condition

LPBW fans gush over how cute Lilah Roloff is when wearing her eyeglasses. While she does look adorable, the eyeglasses are necessary for her strabismus.

In other words, Lilah has crossed eyes or lazy eyes. Aside from her eyeglasses, Lilah also sometimes wears an eyepatch to help treat the condition while she is still in her development years.

If these treatments work out, the LPBW couple's "crossed-eyed beauty queen" may not require surgery later on. So, for now, it's a wait-and-see situation for the Roloff family.

Some fans of the reality series were quite worried and curious as to why Lilah wasn't wearing her eyeglasses lately, as seen in some of the photos Tori shared on social media. When one of her followers asked if Lilah does "not have to wear glasses," Tori responded she still needs it to treat her strabismus and that Lilah can see fine without her pair. Tori also explained that the eyeglasses were at the repair shop as Lilah may have broken them.

Despite Lilah Roloff's early health conditions, the LPBW sweetheart has made significant progress. She has since learned to walk on her own and has packed in some pounds. She still wears a pair of eyeglasses, though, but it seems like she's pretty much used to it by now.
