Little People, Big World: Isabela Roloff Gearing Up for a New Career
It looks like Isabel Roloff had quite a memorable birth experience, so much so that she's now planning to pursue a career related to it. The LPBW mom recently revealed that she's looking into "becoming a birth doula."
Isabel was inspired to learn about being a doula or a professional labor assistant after giving birth to her son Mateo Tomas, who's now a month old. She said her experience moved her, especially after all the unexpected changes in her birth plan.
"My experience moved me to look into becoming a birth doula," the LPBW star wrote. "I didn't have one, and it would be an honor to walk people through that and especially help them navigate what a birth plan means and what to do if it has to change."
LPBW Mom Asks For Recommendations
Isabel Roloff seems eager to push through with her plans to become a birth doula. The Little People, Big World celeb even asked fans about recommendations on good doula programs.
Interestingly, it looked like she got some really good ones from fans. Isabel thanked everyone for their suggestions, adding that she'd start working on it as soon as possible.
"It's my goal to complete a doula program," the LPBW mom added. "We'll see how it goes with (the) new baby, but I love learning and being a student when I'm passionate about something."
Izzy, who gave birth to her son on December 4, also revealed that she had to change her birth plan "really late" in her pregnancy, which she admitted to being "more common" than she thought. The TLC star also shared that she wants to help moms-to-be navigate through such changes. This is one reason why she's intent on learning.
LPBW: Izzy is a Woman of Many Hats
The former Isabel Rock is not one to sit on her laurels. The Little People, Big World star, got busy learning some new things in the past couple of years. She took a training course on becoming a yoga teacher then studied Feng Shui.
"In 2020, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and in 2021 I completed a six-month Feng Shui certification course," Isabel shared on Instagram Stories.
The new mom is also a photographer, writer, and artist. In February of 2018, Isabel Roloff earned representation as an artist for the company Raw. She also sold prints of some of her paintings on Etsy some years back.
