Little People, Big World star Isabel Roloff is embracing her post-baby body. The new mom shared on Instagram that she is "proud" of her body despite moments of feeling sad that her tummy will also "never look like it once did."
"I only show this because I think it's important," Isabel stressed. "Also, two things can be true at once. Sometimes I look at this belly and get sad. Other times, I am so damn proud of what it created, allowed me to do."
Isabel, who battled an eating disorder as a teen, shared that she will no longer make a New Year's resolution that involves dieting.
"It gave me my son," the LPBW mom said about her figure. "So unlike most years in the past, I won't add a resolution that has anything to do with my body."
LPBW: Isabel Roloff Happy With Post-baby Body
The Little People, Big World celeb also discussed a comment made by one of her followers on her IG Story. The commenter told Isabel Roloff that she shouldn't worry because she'll "eventually get to where you want to be." While the follower had good intentions, the first-time mother begged to disagree.
"While they're not wrong and they meant well," Izzy started, "I thought, "who says this isn't where I want to be?"
Isabel added that she knew her tummy wouldn't look the same as it was three weeks since becoming a mother to her son Mateo Tomas. However, the LPBW star has also come to terms that she will never regain her pre-pregnancy figure.
"I'm 3 weeks postpartum, and of course, my belly won't look like this forever," she stressed. "However, my belly will also never look like it once did."
Little People, Big World: Isabel Has No Desire to Bounce Back
During an Instagram Q&A session, a follower asked Isabel Roloff if she was "struggling" with her postpartum figure the same way she did. The fan also wanted to know how the 25-year-old mother is dealing with the changes to her body.
The LPBW star responded by sharing a photo of herself 11 days after giving birth to her son. She mentioned that she was "in love" with her postpartum tummy. Instead of worrying about her image, Isabel accepted the fact that her physique has changed for good.
"I'm in love with my soft, wrinkly belly," Isabel replied. "I have no desire to 'bounce back.' My body will never be the same."
The former Isabel Rock further stressed that she is proud of her figure because it reminds her of how "rewarding" it is to be a new mom.
"It was my baby's first home," the LPBW celeb continued. "It shows that I did one of the hardest, most rewarding jobs. I'm proud of it. I hope you can see your body the same way. It's an incredible thing."
