Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff apologized to fans who feared her family's beloved pet dog, Murphy, has passed away after she posted a misleading Instagram Story. Roloff said in the since-deleted IG post that their dog, Murphy, was "in heaven." What's the truth behind it?
Little People, Big World: Tori Roloff Explains Latest Gaffe
Tori Roloff unintentionally caused panic to fans over an innocent post about her dog, Murphy. The LPBW mom took to Instagram earlier this week and announced that their dog is "in heaven."
Fans quickly expressed their concern for the adorable canine, with some wishing him to rest in peace. After realizing her blunder, the 30-year-old reality TV star Tori Roloff addressed the confusion.
The Little People, Big World star explained on a video posted last Monday, December 27, that the 3-year-old Murphy is still alive. She also stressed that she only meant that the family pet was "in heaven" because of the snow.
"I feel like a terrible person," Tori Roloff said in disbelief. "I meant Murphy was in heaven because of all of the snow. Like, he's so excited about all the snow."

Tori Shares Proof Beloved Dog is Still Alive and Kicking
Tori Roloff also said that their Bernese Mountain Dog is "still alive" and "running around outside." The LPBW celeb even shared another clip showing her and Murphy together to further prove that their fur baby is doing fine.
"Murphy's right here," Tori added. "See? He's still alive, still doing his thing."
The part-time professional photographer also posted a photo of Murphy outside playing in the snow. She even poked fun of her choice of words.
"Hahaha this is Murphy having so much fun in the snow," Tori joked. "Is that a better caption?"

LPBW Fans Just Love Murphy
This isn't the first time that Little People, Big World fans were worried about Murphy. Back in June, speculations started circulating that Murphy was given away after some followers noticed that the Roloffs weren't posting as many photos of their pet as they used to.
Tori Roloff addressed these concerns on Instagram Stories by showing a photo of Muprhy with a caption stating they did not give him away. She also mentioned that Murphy "is still living his best life waiting for snacks to fall."
The LPBW star added that there are times she feels discouraged by the criticism she gets online just because she opted not to share much on social media.
"What you see is such a small piece of our whole story," the soon-to-be mom of three shared. "Just because Murphy isn't shared every day doesn't make him any less loved. He just has to compete with two kids for screen time."
