The attending physician told Li that Finn had no chance to live. Li did not accept that and decided to care for him herself. Dr. Finnegan snuck Finn out of the hospital to oversee his care at home. Li chose to keep Finn's survival a secret from everyone.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is mourning the loss of her husband. Moreover, Hayes Finnegan (Piper Harriot) is without a father.
Still, B&B spoilers for the upcoming weeks suggest Li will continue to keep the secret. Steffy seeks closure and wants to plan a memorial service with Li.

But Li has her reasons for keeping Finn hidden from his loved ones. She feels Finn got caught up in the Forrester drama. After all, he never would have met Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) if it had not been for Steffy on Bold And The Beautiful.

Li's priority is for Finn to recover. Furthermore, she wants him to be safe from Sheila. Unfortunately, the criminal is obsessed with the Forresters.
Sheila never showed interest in Finn until he married into the family. Now Finn is in a coma and clinging to life thanks to Sheila. Perhaps Li needs reassurance that Sheila is no longer a threat.
