Brooke and Taylor have been rivals for Ridge Forrester's (Thorsten Kaye) heart which has heated the Forrester/Logan feud. But the rivalry has been intensified by the issue of Douglas Forrester's (Django Ferri) custody.
When Brooke confronted Thomas, the situation became volatile. She claimed to be afraid when Thomas became angry. It did not help that he made threats while holding a knife.
