Ridge Forrester wanted a confession from Brooke Logan and urged her to come clean. Naturally, Brooke had no idea what Ridge was talking about. Moreover, she has been racking her brain trying to figure out what she did.
Brooke may give it some serious thought and come up with an idea. She did mention to Ridge that she had been tempted to call CPS. Ridge happened to mention this fact to Thomas. Shortly after, CPS showed up at the Forrester mansion. Then Ridge called Brooke to ask her if she was the one who reported his son.

Brooke Logan's theory could also be about Thomas Forrester trying to manipulate Hope Logan. Certainly, Hope may be disturbed as Thomas just tried to kiss her.
