Brooke made a big deal out of Thomas holding a knife around Douglas. It gave her more reasons to doubt that he's a changed man. Shortly after the incident, Child Protective Services showed up at the Forrester mansion.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for September 26 to 30 note that Ridge will question Brooke about her involvement in the CPS call. Both Ridge and Thomas were not happy about the unexpected visit. But Brooke will insist she has nothing to do with it.
Still, further B&B spoilers reveal Ridge will be brokenhearted when Brooke fails to give the right answer to a specific question. Did Ridge find out that she called CPS on his son?

Hope Defends Thomas on Bold and the Beautiful
Brooke Logan has been very doubtful of Thomas Forrester. She is clearly not a fan of Ridge Forrester's son, and she's not ashamed to show it.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers divulge Brooke will continue to trash talk Thomas. She is convinced that he has not changed his ways at all and that Douglas is not safe with him.
Brooke also believes that Thomas is using his son to manipulate Hope Logan. Liam Spencer seems to share the same concerns.
However, it's a different tune with Hope. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the week reveal she will defend Thomas from Brooke. She will be appalled when she learns about the CPS visit and confront her mother about it.
Hope will reiterate that Thomas has come a long way and is far from his old self. She will also insist that he's been a good father to Douglas, and she's seen it firsthand.

Thomas Forrester will be in awe of Hope Logan. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers note he will marvel at her ability to always see the best in him despite Brooke and Liam's doubts.
Thomas and Hope may not be on the same page regarding Douglas's living situation, but that doesn't change her opinion of him as a good father. Of course, the two have a long history, to begin with, but Hope seems to have put all the bad memories behind.
