Bold and the Beautiful star Rena Sofer officially wrapped up her stint as Quinn Fuller Forrester. The actress confirmed her departure from the show earlier this week, much to everyone's surprise.
Sofer first played the role in 2013 and has since been a household name on the show. Now, the soap veteran is ready for what's in store for her outside of the B&B world.
"I know it's heartbreaking for some, and it is for me as well," Sofer said. "But it's time for me to move on with both my acting career and my pottery career."
With Rena Sofer out of Bold and the Beautiful, many wonder what's next for Quinn's love interest, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). The future looks promising for Quinn and Carter, especially now that they no longer hide their romance.
The couple just got back together and is enjoying the honeymoon phase of their relationship. So what will happen to "Quarter"?

Will Quinn Get a Recast on Bold and the Beautiful?
Quinn and Carter's current plot progressed at a breakneck pace. Still, there are more angles to explore and possibilities for their storyline.
For many Bold and the Beautiful fans, it wouldn't be very pleasant to see Quinn and Carter's journey end abruptly just like that. That said, could Quinn Forrester get a recast?
Recasting a character is nothing new in soaps. In fact, B&B has had its fair share of recasts over the years. The idea of Quinn being played by another actress is not far-fetched at all, considering how well-received the character has been so far.
Not to mention Quarter's current storyline still has a lot to offer. Ending it too soon may not be the best move on Bold and the Beautiful. For now, there has been no word of Rena Sofer passing the throne to a new actress.

Carter's Future on B&B?
Quinn Forrester's upcoming last episode on August 29 leaves fans with so many questions. How will she be written off? Will it be a peaceful or intense exit? And what about Carter Walton? Will he follow suit and leave as well? Or will he find someone new on Bold and the Beautiful?
In her interview with Soap Opera Digest, Rena Sofer hinted at Lawrence Saint-Victor's future on the show. The actress clarified that only she will move on from B&B, implying that the actor will remain.
"For those of you invested in 'Quarter,' just know that Rena Sofer is happy and moving on but Lawrence, who plays Carter, has so much more to give you," the actress noted. Will Carter end up broken-hearted again? Or will he take a break from work and leave with Quinn only to return later?

Rena has nothing but good words to say to her co-star as well. She described working with him as one of her "greatest accomplishments." She is also looking forward to seeing Lawrence get recognition for his work, just like her other co-star John McCook (Eric Forrester), who recently won an Emmy.
