Ridge Forrester and Bill Spencer have had their fair share of heartwarming moments recently that could definitely put their unpleasant history behind them. Are they enough to keep the truce between the two?
Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont recently opened up about his thoughts on his character's new dynamic with Ridge. The soap vet clarified that despite the progress between the former rivals, they're far from being besties.
"Despise is probably an appropriate word for how these guys feel about one another, and they are still antagonists," Diamont tells Soaop Opera Digest. "Despite them working together, that is still a factor."

What's Next for Bill and Ridge?
And for those hoping to see Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester as best buddies, they might be disappointed. It doesn't look like the two will be exchanging friendship bracelets anytime soon on Bold and the Beautiful.
Apparently, Don Diamont is not holding out hope that Bill and Ridge will ever mend fences completely. "I don't think you'll see Ridge and Bill sitting on a couch chucking and feeding each other cake," the actor adds. "I don't think you'll see that level of cuddly affection."

Nonetheless, Diamont is happy to see this huge progress between the two rivals. Bill and Ridge have spent decades feuding, so working together and setting aside their differences is definitely refreshing to see.
As for how long this unity will last, Don Diamont isn't so sure. After all, nothing's permanent in the soap world. Who knows, maybe Ridge and Bill will go back to fighting over Brooke again. If so, the feud could be worse than ever.
