Things will never be the same for Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) after she finds out that Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is her biological father. This week on Bold and the Beautiful, the unhinged woman was an emotional wreck when she finally came face-to-face with her dad.
While she's shocked by the bombshell revelation, she's ecstatic and looking forward to having a relationship with Finn. But Finn isn't the only family member Luna might be excited to reconnect with.
B&B star Lisa Yamada drops hints about what's next for Luna and her equally—if not more—evil grandmother, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Bold and the Beautiful Star Lisa Yamada Hints Possible Luna-Sheila Scenes
It's official—Luna is Finn's daughter! That also means she has Sheila's blood running through her veins. But what does that mean for her future?
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Luna's portrayer, Lisa Yamada, discusses the ramifications of being Sheila's biological granddaughter. Bold and the Beautiful star admits she's thrilled to be part of the villain's infamous lineage.
"Kimberlin (Sheila Carter) is the OG baddie of our show," Yamada says. "Some of Luna's behaviors make so much more sense now—she's got Sheila's blood running through her veins!"
Although the two villains haven't shared scenes yet, Yamada reveals that she and Brown get along well off-screen. The 22-year-old actress says they're both excited about the opportunity to work together and bring some grandmother-granddaughter moments to B&B.
As for what fans can expect when these two troublemakers finally collide, Yamada teases an exciting dynamic: "I'm sure we'll have some killer scenes together—no pun intended!"
Imagine the chaos Luna and Sheila could unleash on the show. Will we see more killing sprees, elaborate schemes, and ruthless manipulation? One thing's for sure—together, they're a force to be reckoned with!
Lisa Happy With Luna's Family Tree Expanding
Now that Luna is confirmed to be Sheila's granddaughter, her place within Bold and the Beautiful canvas is more solid than ever. In the same interview, Yamada shares her gratitude to Brad Bell for her character's transformation.
"Starting out as a sweet Forrester intern falling in love 'for the first time,' and then doing a complete 180 last year to become a murderous villainess," the actress notes. "This show has fulfilled me so much creatively and helped me grow as an actor."
Luna's expanding family tree was something Yamada never saw coming, but now that it's happening, she couldn't be happier.
"With Luna being tied to so many iconic characters, it feels like she's really starting to solidify her place in the roster, and I couldn't be happier."
