At the hospital, Eric's family couldn't bear the thought of losing him any minute. The machines are the only thing keeping him alive, so everyone's anguished.
Amid the tension, Ridge must make the fateful choice whether or not to pull the plug. The dressmaker has Eric's medical power of attorney, giving him the last say on how they will proceed.
