Bold and the Beautiful rumors suggest a symbolic change might happen in the Forrester mansion. Things are looking up for Eric Forrester as he lives his "new life."
His recovery seems to go smoothly, which is a huge relief to his family. Not only that, but Eric also marries the love of his life, Donna Logan.
But it looks like exchanging "I do's" isn't enough for Eric. Actor John McCook teases what his character wants to do to prove his devotion to Donna.

Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Hopes for Stable Marriage
Eric Forrester is living his life to the fullest with Donna Logan. Last week, they took their relationship to the next level and got hitched.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers note the Forresters and Logans are over the moon for the couple. It's been a rough past few months for the family, so they just want the man to be genuinely happy.

Eric's decision to marry Donna on the spot reflects his new outlook on life and "renewed enthusiasm" since his recovery. Actor John McCook notes that Donna is a big part of his character's zest for life following his near-death experience.
McCook also hopes that Eric's latest union will be better than his previous ones. The Bold and the Beautiful star wants his marriage to Donna to be stable.

"I think that's something very important to have on a show," he adds. "And I really think that's going to be our slot now. We're the rock on that set, and being married [in the Forrester living room] puts us in that place."

Donna as Forrester's Matriarch?
In the same Soap Opera Digest interview, John McCook shares his thoughts about Donna Logan's evolution over the years. The Bold and the Beautiful star thinks her experiences have prepared her well to take on a more serious and mature role in the Forrester family.

McCook notes that Donna is no longer just a sex kitten. She's an adult and can pretty much be the matriarch.
"She and Eric are the grownups on the show," the actor adds. "I think that's where we are going to be from now on."

Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Wants His Portrait Replaced?
Meanwhile, John McCook also shares what Eric Forrester would love to do now that he's married to Donna Logan again. The Bold and the Beautiful star thinks it'll be a great idea to have Eric's portrait replaced with a picture of him and Donna together.

"That picture above the fireplace, which used to be Stephanie and then it used to be Quinn and now it's Eric, I think what it should be now is a picture of Eric and Donna together," McCook adds. "That would really tell the story. I haven't told Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer] that, but I think that's what it ought to be."
