Wood announced the birth of her third child, Brando Elion Ruspoli, in late May. The award-winning actress then took a break from the show to spend time with her family.

During a recent event, Bold and the Beautiful producer Casey Kasprzyk held a brief Q&A session. A fan asked when viewers could expect to see Jacqueline MacInnes Wood back on the show as Steffy Forrester.
Kasprzyk revealed that the actress would return full-time later this month. "The end of July," he confirmed.
Wood previously made a brief appearance on Bold and the Beautiful amid her maternity leave. During an episode last month, Steffy made a surprise video chat from Europe to update her family.

Upon Steffy Forrester's return, fans can expect to see more emotional and powerful scenes from Jacqueline MacInnes Wood. During an interview, the Bold and the Beautiful actress hinted at action-packed scenes ahead.
"There's explosions and helicopters and it's gonna be… it's gonna be cool." Wood teased. The cast members did not give any further details, but it's safe to assume that these scenes will be epic.
Meanwhile, Kasprzyk also hinted at a possible romance between Taylor Hayes and Deacon Sharpe. The Bold and the Beautiful producer even noted some ship names that are already making rounds online, including "Dealor" and "Taycon."
