Longtime B&B viewers know that Bridget was once married to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). However, that marriage was doomed when Deacon had an affair with Brooke. Back then, Brooke fell into a depression over being rejected by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Thorne Forrester (then played by Winsor Harmon).
Deacon comforted Brooke, and they began their affair. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is the result of that affair. Bridget even helped deliver Hope.
When she found out Deacon was Hope's father, Bridget was furious. Bridget was last seen in March of 2020 at a family gathering where it was revealed that Brooke kissed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Bridget may have a sense of deja vu if she returns to Bold And The Beautiful.

Bridget has a connection to almost everyone who is part of Brooke and Deacon's storyline. Bridget even has a tie to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Sheila tampered with Bridget's paternity results when she was an infant.
The schemer switched the results to make it appear that Ridge was Bridget's father. The truth came out later that Eric was the real father. Adding Bridget to the canvas now would surely add to the drama on The Bold And The Beautiful.
