90 Day Fiance: Alina Kozhevnikova Explains Her Past Actions – Regrets Doing It

Alina Kozhevnikova finally mustered the courage to address the hurtful remarks she made in the past. In a lengthy message she posted on YouTube and her blog, the 90 Day Fiance star claimed she's "taking responsibility for her actions." The move came after a serious backlash she received on social media.

Alina admitted that it took her a while to post a response to the racist accusations against her. She said it was hard for her to find the right words to say, adding that she "was told to keep silent and not say anything."

Alina particularly defended her use of "n-word" in her old posts. She maintained that she "didn't fully know America's history with racism" and the meaning behind the term at the time of her posting. Alina added that she has no clue that it is a "bad word" used to "discriminate and demean people."

The 90 Day Fiance celeb even sounded like she's blaming her American friends for not giving her a heads up about the true meaning of the word. She claimed if she had back then, she would've taken down the post immediately.

Alina Promises Not To Use Racist Words Again

Alina Kozhevnikova added that she apologized at the end of her controversial post. The 90 Day Fiance star reiterated many times in her post that she's clueless about the word's meaning.

"I didn't think that it was something discriminative and highly offensive that implies slavery times in the US," Alina maintained. "Otherwise, I'd never laugh."

Alina Kozhevnikova promised not to use racial slurs again. The 90 Day Fiance star also assured everyone that she would work on her ignorance and educate herself more to avoid such mistakes again.

"I never wanted to hurt anyone at all, and I am extremely sorry I did," Alina said. "I won't ever use any of these derogatory words again and I acknowledge my fault, and once again, I am truly, sincerely sorry."
