'7 Little Johnstons': How Much Do They Make Per Episode?

7 Little Johnstons continues to gain worldwide fame even after ten seasons. Trent, Amber, and their five kids — Jonah, Anna, Elizabeth, Alex, and Emma — first shot to fame in 2015. They became an instant hit being the largest known family of achondroplasia dwarfs.

Despite being on TV for six years now, the Johnstons still get a lot of questions from fans, particularly about the salary they get from the show. So, how much do they make per episode?

How Much Money Does 7 Little Johnstons Make per Episode?

Trent and Amber Johnston are the parents of five children: Jonah, Anna, Elizabeth, Alex, and Emma. Since its premiere in 2015, 7 Little Johnstons has won the hearts of millions of viewers around the world, catapulting its stars to fame and fortune. But is a paycheck from a reality show enough to sustain a family of seven?

Terence Michael, a producer of various TV shows, told E! in a 2009 interview that stars in a reality show are usually paid 10% of the show's budget per episode.

Michael cited another TLC hit, 8 Kids and Counting, which supposedly earned between $25,000 to $40,000 for each episode. So, even though the Johnstons have not disclosed their earnings from 7 Little Johnstons, they are expected to be around the same price range, considering both are family-themed shows.

The Johnstons' Net Worth

As years go by, 7 Little Johnstons' budget also increased, allowing the family to earn more money from it. Various websites claim the Johnstons' net worth is anywhere from $1 million to $3 million, while others put Trent and Amber's net worth to be around $5 million.

It is worth noting though that the family has other means of income. Trent Johnston works as a car sales agent, earning extra from commissions. Amber Johnston, on the other hand, works as an educator.

7 Little Johnstons kids Elizabeth, Anna, and Jonah Johnston also have stable jobs and other online gigs. They still maintain their day jobs despite appearing regularly on TV.

The youngest children of Amber and Trent also make their own money. Emma and Alex run their online stores, which is pretty impressive for someone their age.

What Assets do the 7 Little Johnston Family Own?

Trent and Amber Johnston purchased a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,660 square-foot home in Forsyth, GA earlier this year, giving credence to the belief that the Johnstons make a comfortable lifestyle from 7 Little Johnstons.

The property is said to include a pool, which adds to its allure, and it rests on 10 acres of land. They also owned several vehicles.

Currently, three of Amber and Trent's children — Elizabeth, Anna, and Jonah Johnston — already moved out of the house. But Emma and Alex have a new companion at home, a Finnish exchange student, Joose Jeskanen.
