Before becoming the largest family of achondroplasia dwarfs in the country, Amber and Trent Johnston were just like any ordinary couple. The 7 Little Johnstons stars first met as teenagers at a Little People of America convention and instantly clicked.
It was love at first sight, to say the least. "I saw a gorgeous blonde-haired, blue-eyed, 16-year-old girl," Trent recalled. "And I saw a very attractive young man with a funny personality," Amber gushed back.

The 7 Little Johnstons stars knew all along that they're meant for each other. Amber, in particular, admitted that Trent was her first boyfriend and knew for sure that they'd get married.
And they did exactly just that. After three years of dating, the couple tied the knot. They exchanged vows in front of 300 guests in November 1998.

The 7 Little Johnstons celeb also shared that Trent is the "most impatient," "most sensitive," and "loudest" in their relationship. Amber learned to embrace everything about Trent — flaws and all.

Meanwhile, 7 Little Johnstons is set to make a comeback for its ninth season. In an Instagram post, it was revealed that the hit TLC show will return on May 25.

Fans can expect to see more challenges for Amber and Trent as they navigate family life with five "growing up" kids. Jonah's relationship with Ashley continues to blossom. Amber and Trent are still eager to help him become independent by urging him to move out of the house.
