Young And The Restless spoilers predict that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) could face a life-threatening event yet again. Diane's recent return from the dead shocked Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Yet Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be the most affected by Diane's return.
Kyle mourned the loss of his mother in 2011. To make matters worse, Diane was supposedly murdered, and there was no shortage of suspects. Diane was a troublemaker and had no friends in Genoa City.
Jack demanded that Diane leave Kyle alone until he could break the news of her return. However, Diane took the opportunity to sneak back to town. Not only that, but Diane is staying at the Grand Phoenix, run by her nemesis Phyllis.
Y&R spoilers for the week of April 18 to 22 tease that Jack will do damage control. Perhaps Diane will break Jack's ground rules and reach out to Kyle. Or Kyle may find out Diane is alive after a traumatic incident. Either way, Diane's presence in town will cause drama on The Young And The Restless.

Kyle will certainly wonder why Diane would fake her death when she had a young child. Diane would have to explain why she stayed away all these years with no contact.
Kyle may be very angry, but he may not be able to confront his mother right away. Young And The Restless spoilers for the week of April 18 to 22 suggest that Diane will be involved in a multi-car crash. Further spoilers imply that Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) will cause the crash. Will Diane live or die?
If Diane does not live, it may cause a rift between Jack and Kyle. Jack's son may be angry that his dad waited so long to tell him about Diane. Kyle may resent the fact that he did not get the chance to connect with Diane.
On the other hand, Diane could live but suffer serious injuries. Kyle may put his anger aside to tend to his mother. Maybe Diane would take advantage of her condition to get closer to Kyle on Young And The Restless.

If Diane survives the accident, she may have a long recovery period. The medical professionals may advise that Diane avoid stress. This may work to Diane's advantage.
Kyle would not be able to express his resentment of her absence in his life. Also, Kyle may likely feel obliged to look after his mother.
