Abby was hurt by Devon's request for shared custody. She felt that Devon believed Abby and Chance were lacking as parents. Chance believed it was because he admitted to Devon that he had been struggling since he returned to Genoa City.
The truth is Devon fell in love with his biological child. His bond with Dominic is so strong he wants a permanent and legal place in the baby's life. Nevertheless, Devon knew what he had signed up for. Does he have a right to shared custody on Young and the Restless?
Young and the Restless: Abby Takes a Stand
Chance admitted to Abby that he does not know if he can be a good father. That confession spurred Abby to take action.
Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of January 3 to 7 tease Abby will visit Devon, and he will be caught off guard by what she says. Perhaps Abby will remind Devon of their original agreement.
He signed on to be a donor, not a father. Chance is Dominic's father. Abby may suggest that Devon needs some space from Dominic.

The last thing Abby wants is to share custody of the baby with Devon. Abby wants to raise Dominic with Chance without interference from his sperm donor.
However, Y&R spoilers imply Devon is not likely to back down. Devon has the encouragement of his girlfriend, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Amanda is a top-notch lawyer who worked on the original agreement. She will advise Devon he has other avenues he can pursue. Yet Devon will not want to take Abby and Chance to court. Nevertheless, Devon may change his mind on the CBS soap.
Abby Fights Devon for Dominic on Y&R?
Abby believes Devon has no right to Dominic because he agreed to be a donor. Yet Devon has taken a stand.
Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of January 10 to 14 state that Devon refuses to budge on something. Amanda is urging Devon to pursue legal custody of his biological son. Devon is not eager to go to court. Perhaps he will not budge on that.
