TLC just announced new release dates for some of their returning reality shows. But some fans were somewhat dismayed when Counting On wasn't on the list.
Avid viewers of the show have been anticipating the return of the Duggar family on the small screen, especially after Counting On: A New Life. But it seems the special episode has no follow-ups, much to fans' dismay.
TLC Reveals New Release Dates for Upcoming Shows
TLC surprised the fans after releasing a series of release dates for their upcoming reality shows. It includes Little People, Big World, 7 Little Johnstons, and Doubling Down With the Derricos. Noticeably missing though was Counting On.
Long-time running show Little People, Big World is set to return for season 22 on May 11. The newest installment of the franchise will start off with the Roloffs facing the challenges of the pandemic. Zach is also trying to figure out if he's going to take over his family's farm amid his struggles on raising two children.
7 Little Johnstons will also make a comeback on May 25. It'll feature Trent and Amber's adjustments as they prepare to leave their home. The two are also finding ways to keep their family's bond stronger despite being away from each other.
Lastly, Doubling Down With the Derricos Season 2 will return on June 1.

TLC Leaves Counting On Fans Hanging
Fans are very excited about the upcoming shows of TLC. However, some were disappointed as TLC didn't announce a release date for Counting On.
Recently, a special episode from the Duggars was aired but not everyone's happy about it. Apparently, some fans were disappointed as it shared a glimpse of a small portion of what's happening in the family.
Counting On: A New Life only featured Jessa Duggar's pregnancy. The arrival of Brooklyn Praise was also revealed during the special episode.
Unfortunately, that's all there is in the special. Due to this, fans expected that TLC will release a follow-up episode at some point.

Fans Are Hoping That the Next Season Will Focus on Jana
Although there have been no plans for a new season yet, fans are hoping to see the courtship of Jana Duggar in the future Counting On installment. Rumors of her romantic relationship with a pilot named Stephen Wissmann have been spreading like wildfire recently.
There is a lot of evidence suggesting that there's something going on between the two. Apparently, Jana was seen in Florida recently to watch an airshow. Fans think that Stephen was also there in the event considering that he's also a pilot.
But one of the most notable proofs so far was a picture of Jana celebrating Christmas with the Wissmann family. She was seen sitting next to Stephen. However, the picture was taken down on social media by the family after the rumors surfaced.
