Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra have called it quits. The 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life couple recently announced that they have broken up, and accusing fingers are pointed at Debbie Johnson as a major reason for the split.
90 Day Fiance: Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra Separate
In the 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life Tell All episode aired on Friday, January 28, the former couple admitted that they have decided to separate after less than a year of marriage. They confirmed that Vanessa Guerra moved out of Colt Johnson's home at least three weeks ago.
"I moved out," Vanessa revealed. Colt confirmed the shocking news saying, "We're separated. She hadn't lived with us for three weeks."
Debbie Johnson Reason Behind Split
The 90 Day Fiance ex-couple revealed that Debbie Johnson played a huge role in the disintegration of their relationship. During the episode, Colt Johnson finally opened up to his 69-year-old mother about how she has affected his life, particularly his marriage.
The 36-year-old software engineer didn't hold back as he told his mom that he was upset with her. He even accused Debbie of turning him into a submissive son.
"I'm upset that you just can't do anything by yourself. I'm the first person, the first call, the first everything with you," Colt told Debbie. "You've raised me to be just a subservient person to you. I shouldn't be bothered with your life. This is your life. It's not my responsibility."

Emotions also spilled for Vanessa as she told Debbie that she "felt very smothered" because of her. The 90 Day Fiance star expressed her frustrations of living with her mother-in-law, saying she was "tired of being under her roof."
"I just felt very smothered because you're constantly in Colt's face," Vanessa bluntly told Debbie. "If I need him, you're in his face. It's non-stop. Hey Colt! Hey Colt! Even if our door's closed in the room. Hey Colt! Hey Colt! It's non-stop."
The 90 Day Fiance celeb revealed that she finally snapped when she had a miscarriage. Vanessa felt that Debbie was mean to her even if she was under a lot of stress from losing her child. She believed that her mother-in-law was acting like that because the couple didn't tell her about their pregnancy.
90 Day Fiance: Colt and Vanessa Reconciliation Possible?
Vanessa Guerra is not closing her doors on reconciling with Colt Johnson despite the separation. The 90 Day Fiance star made it clear that she's willing to work on their marriage as long as her conditions are met.
Vanessa revealed that she will move back in if Debbie leaves, insisting that she "didn't sign up for a part-time husband." Interestingly, it seems Colt's mom is willing to move out as soon as possible.

History Repeats Itself for Colt?
With Colt Johnson's latest split, many couldn't help but think that history repeats itself in his marriage. It's no secret that Debbie Johnson is notorious for intervening with her son's relationships.
